Rewrite Swap-File on Shutdown

What exactly is the point of this function? (I'm a bit new to this kind of thing, just wondering how doing this would help things.)

Re-writing the swap file before every shut down costs time. If you turn it off you can shut down a bit faster.

It has also security concerns. The swap file is used if your physical memory (RAM) is full. This means it may contain critical data. If someone gets access to your harddrive, it may still contain important data. Re-writing the swap file before shut down deletes all content and therefore increases security.
